Quiet spot well with tastefully appointed cabins by the river. We stayed for 2 nights in these tastefully appointed cabins right across the road from the river - great for boating.
The grounds and facilities are well maintained (almost brand new).
Car port is adjacent to the cabin.
Comfortable bed and spacious living area.

I would have given 5 stars except for an uncomfortable lounge and an older smart TV that had limited apps and also limited access to streaming services. I guess we could have cast from our phone but didn't try.

The Riverside tavern is next door for pub meals but it's a drive into town for other eating or shopping needs.

As usual another fab escape at Salt We’ve been coming back to Salt many times due it’s location, facilities and beautiful scenery

We cannot wait to come back! Amazing view! The street was wonderfully quiet, and the villa was spotless with everything we could possibly need. We were thrilled to be visited by kangaroos and even saw dolphins swimming in the river right across the road from our balcony—an unforgettable experience!

FINALLY!! My family and i have staying staying at resorts / holiday parks / hotels all around Australia for the last 16 years and i can truely say Salt South West Rocks finally met my standards regarding hygiene. The villa was immaculate , i couldn't fault a thing .
Thank you for putting so much effort into the resort , your hard work is appreciated.
The lawn was also perfect and so was the pool area.
Will definitely be back

Perfect all round! Great stay with several china. Well appointed. Had everything we needed and more. Peaceful location, great amenities.

Perfect place to wind down This was our second stay at Salt. We absolutely love the perfectly setup villa with the comfiest beds right on the riverfront. Lovely landscaped grounds, a sparkling pool and filled with native birdlife and local kangaroos give it a wonderful ambience. Short walk to the Tavern for lunch or dinner or a drink on the balcony made life easy. Easy flat walk along the break wall made for a lovely start to the day.
Town and multiple beaches are only a moment away as is Coles should you choose to eat in which we often did as the kitchen is very well setup.
No doubt we will be back again soon.

Fantastic Hideaway in South West Rocks We totally recommend Salt at South West Rocks to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in a great water side location. Salt is well appointed relaxing accommodation in an ideal location looking over the river.

Fantastic Family Getaway Perfect location to have a family celebration, accommodation and facilities are excellent!! We will definitely stay again.

Salt @ SWR Most relaxing & comfortable stay! Quiet location. Front verandah looks out to the charming Macleay river. Watching beautiful daily sunsets was a treat. Local attractions were just enough and visiting Gladstone was another hightlight too. Fantastic staff where nothing is too much an ask. Wonderful! Thank you Gayle & Bruce.
